Pumpkin “Picking”

This Sunday we went to Bauman Farms for some pumpkin fun.

First we went to the petting zoo, but none of the animals wanted to be pet.

There were also some cool mazes. Some were friendly and easy …

… while others were scary and dark. Really dark.

There was also good (if overpriced) food, and really yummy cider.

And, of course, there were pumpkins, just kind of lying on the ground :S

We “picked” 3 and made jack-o-lanterns out of them. I made a Domo one!

It looks funny during the day, but when it’s lit up it looks pretty cute :3

Need a Blow Dryer

I got my haircut on Saturday, but it hasn’t looked the same since D:

I need to find a) a blow dryer and b) someone to blow dry my hair for me.

Yesterday we went to Portland, and had lunch at Sushi Takahashi.

It was a lot better than I thought it would be, and super cheap ($1.25-$3 per plate).

My amaebi even came with the heads, which was unexpected and wonderful.

My Pre-Sleep Movie Time

The Pearl

Today my mom and I went to Cupcake Jones in the Pearl District.

She got The Pearl and I got a Caramel Apple (which I didn’t get a picture of).

I was so jittery from all the sugar afterward. It was kind of scary!

Statistics is So Unhealthy

Today in Stats we spent the whole period eating chocolate chip cookies.

We were doing a double-blind survey on which brand of was tastiest, haha.

My favorite (the one I ate all of) was the Keebler-brand cookie, apparently.

Thankfully I was only lured into buying one item of badly-made Domo merchandise!
