Today I went, as I do every year, to see the “first” sunrise.
Rise
It was beautiful, as always, and very hopeful-feeling.
Rise 2
There was also this girl who spent 5 minutes primping in front of our car D:

Anyway, it’s been forever since I’ve updated. It’s not that I haven’t wanted to, it’s just, you know… hard. Everything seems hard lately, as would be painfully obvious to you if you followed my Twitter, haha. I’ve come up with a 2-month plan to get my life kick-started this year, though, so hopefully I won’t be throwing many more pity parties. Thanks to all of you (especially Mai ♥) who have encouraged and supported me. I really appreciate it, and hope that I can reciprocate some day.

Happy new year, all!

P.S. I’ve given up on So Much Sand: Part 3, haha. Long story short, we finally made it to the beach, ate lunch (mushy Subway sandwiches and lukewarm bottled water never tasted so good) and finally dragged ourselves back to the car. It was exhausting, and we got sand everywhere, but it was wonderful. I would highly recommend visiting the dunes if you’re ever in that part of Oregon.
